VST Plugins

By Cybergrunge.net / SEELE / Ellie Voyyd ,
Hi welcome to my website with my VST plugins. um...
This page provides an overview of some of the plugins ive made
they are now shipped together in this handy .zip file mess:
https://cybergrunge.net/resources/voyydvst.zip cool hope u like them

THESE ARE 32 BIT PLUGINS. someone told me they use jbridger to use them with 64bit DAW's, so look into that i guess? cool

EXTRA INFO CLICK HERE WOAHplease don't tell Steinberg that I am making VST2 plugins without proper licensing using a shitty janky as fuck cracked abandoned version of synthedit (Thank you Jeff for giving me a key for free to use it)

by the way i run these on a janky linux distro using PlayOnLinux to run a crack of FL9 that i have had for like a decade lol
so, other than me being a fucking insane weirdo, the point being that i have not tested any of these on a modern and legit computer so attempt to use them at risk of them not working or looking like crap... ok thanks have a nice day.

0x3len

batshit crazy weird ass spectrum-resynthesis-based echo thing

i have no idea how this works and its very niche
but kinda nuts

Ofc, most credit goes to Elena for her Spectrum Resynthesis Modules for synthedit

Drifterr

kinda hella awesome actually lofi multi-fx

uses slow-sloped s+h noise instead of LFO's for infinitely-"drifting" parameters for the included effects.

INCLUDED FOR THE HARDCORE LOFI HEADS:
built in 60hz hum and white noise aka "dirt" knob

RhyZoneV1

over-engineered synth thingy,

mainly of interest due to extensive aux envelope and lfo mapping options,

also of interest is extensive waveshape+filter matrix mapping

less interesting: terrible built in chorus and reverb

maybe interesting??: keymapping and velocity mapping (kinda)

mostly just for big nerds who also for some reaosn dont care about quality at all

11seed

another utilitarian low effort random sound generator synth

Wsyn / WeirdTunez (hybrid microtonal/atonal synth)

Theres a few versions of this.

It uses a waveshaper sinus to modify the pitch given by midi note to create weird tunings.

One of many attempts to make a "good" microtonal synth.

it has all your standard stuff, LFO, 3xBP filters, AM/FM/PM modulation synthesis, cheesy echo, etc etc. basis is two oscillators.

The filter order and layout is actually a lot better than most my other synths, and i also do like the modulation setup, kind of wish i had made a non-microtonal version of it but oh well.

01_SEELE334

(actually a pretty good microtonal synth)
this synth is actually good, although yes it is microtonal only

but, timbre wise, great results i forgot how good it is.

the 10x slider arrays are for waveshaping,
the reason they are slider arrays is to accomodate preset randomization
because fl studio doesnt place nice with synthedit's waveshaper.

unique and kinda fire filter stack too

Room Texture

"room" texture isn't quite accurate,

it is more a randomized emulation of various speaker driver acoustics,

mostly tuned toward small speakers like tabletop tape decks or kids toys or sticking your phone inside an acoustic guitar or a pringles can or a coffee tin or things like that. you know, just generally shitty speakers and very suboptimal resonators. due to this, it results in a ton of phase canceling and bad spectrum curves that are absolutely unsalvageable by any EQ settings known to man.

it is actually a challenge to make something that will permanently make something sound horrible in a way that is irreversible and unrecoverable, using phase offsets and comb filtering.

so, kinda useful for lofi stuff.
also somewhat useful as a tone stack before a really gnarly fuzz. (yes, a fuzz, one with a lot of treble. not a distortion, a fuzz.)

SPKR

(multiple versions included)
this is build with some very specific custom waveshaping algorithms, and is focused on creating the sound of broken speakers.

when i say that, i dont mean "its a distortion", i mean it is literally a physically-modelled concept plugin that is designed with the concept of a speaker driver and tweeter, and how i speaker can "blow out" but still produce some very fucked up sounds, or when you mismatch the impedance of a speaker and the sound of it fucking up.

but of course, as with anything modelled after literal failure and broken-ness, it is finnicky and very has super niche application depending on what sound source you give it. i tend to find it most useful for absolutely destroying drum sounds in a way that makes me violently ill when i listen to them.

brb, gonna go vomit.

chipcrusher (actually NOT a bitcrusher at all really)

technically speaking, this is NOT a bitcrusher.

most of the sound people attribute to "bitcrushing" is actualy downsampling, but yall arent ready for that conversation...

this is another weird concept for audio fuckery that is based on weird ideas that i dont think ive ever seen or heard anyone else implement. i cant remember exactly how it works but it is like, a combination of FM but i think using isolated harmonics at certain ratios corresponding to the loudest frequencies in the input signal, but uh.... idk.

anyway, it fucks up your sounds in a way that makes you want to cry because of how viscerally painful it is to listen to.

Seeded Band Fuzz

3 seed values determine various effects of an echoey clattering clanking horrible noisy chain of filters and delays.

very little use input required,
just nudge the seed values until something decent happens.

gsat

parametric waveshaper with phase warping

or in other words, its a distortion thing. ok have fun bye

FSU-MPEG
(THIS ONE IS REALLY GOOD GUYS SERIOUSLY)

i am obsessed with this one.
i fucking killed it with this one,
like its REALLY good

i was inspired by a vst called Devicer by who-knows-i-forgot and anyway fuck whoever made that plugin because it is an ungodly CPU-whore monstrosity with a disgustingly pretentious GUI, and it also has extremely pathetically limited parameters such that its basically just a glorified dropdown menu for some preset effects, HOWEVER,

one of the awesome ideas they included was an "mp3 player" setting.
this blew my fucking mind.
what if in realtime you could make something sound like a shitty extremely compressed mp3 file you downloaded from mp3bee in 2007...??? GENIUS.

So, that was the basis of why i made this. now, while it is not TECHNICALLY mpeg-related in any way, elena's spectrum resynthesis plugins are useful to acheive the "really bad low quality mp3" sound sometimes.

if you will allow me to be a nerd for a minute, the way mp3 files are compressed is actually pretty similar to how realtime sound spectrums are processed, so the resulting sound actually is pretty close to the real thing in terms of mpeg compression. i decided to throw a volume-tracking ringmodulator before the actual resynthesis is done as well as another FM oscillator afterward, to really emulate the "my computer is trying so hard and kinda failing to turn these bits into legible audio" vibe.

anyway, it can also emulate the sound of very shitty noise reduction.

HOWEVER, it is as the name suggests made in mind to allow extreme parameter settings, pushing the concept to the limits and not babying the user into only allowing "safe" knob and slider ranges. go crazy, explore the outer reaches, where aliasing and DC offset and feedback stalk the mountains and valleys of waveforms!!!!

gross filter 2

just another fucked up distortion,

i promise its not boring though

responds to input volume bizarrely
intentionally obscure slider nomenclature

freezezone

Spectrum Resynthesis with LFO
tempo-synchronized "freezing" of the spectrum with pitch mod

once again, most cred goes to Elena for her spectral resynthesis modules.

FormantIX

formant filter + distorted filter + ringmod and sub.

simple formula, but the results are kinda nuts

made primarily for Brostep and Gaystep and Shitstep and fagtempo music. for some reason it uses a shit ton of CPU unfortunately. also no it is not microtonal, your welcome.

Clacker 7

okay hear me out.

this looks like shit,

it is also EXTREMELY FINNICKY,
it will sometimes output earsplittingly loud crap,
but with minor tweak it will just output silence

but that is kinda the point,

i designed this with a similar concept as my SPKR plugin, which is based on some very particular waveshaping algorithms that are designed to maximize extremely small imperceptible sounds while almost completely cutting out most sound, which is then to be mixed with the clean signal to produce an effect like a shitty broken speaker or faulty wiring.

is the useful? not usually.
but in some rare instances, with VERY specific tweaks and a gameplan on exactly what kind of input is going in, it can definitely make things sound fucked up in a way that almost nothing else can.

but that is the thing, this, and SPKR, are EXTREMELY sensitive to the volume of the input signal and the tonal qualities of it, so you have to really experiment to figure out what it does to different types of input sounds. mkay?

band spat x4

boring and not calibrated well

4 bandpass filters and delays. yawn. whatever.

001.dll

shitty low effort microtonal phase distortion synth

mostly just made this for myself to have a sound source to feed in while testing out different distortion and filter combinations.

another low effort synthedit plugin by ya girl lol

wavestranger2021

yes i made it in 2021, sorry.

mostly just Preset-Randomization fodder as the gui sucks ass

not well calibrated for that either, but here for posterity.

Labroom

random sound generator synth
